Dr Hayley Willacy

Dr Hayley Willacy has been a practising GP for twenty years and was made a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in recognition of her work for Patient.info and in medical education. Hayley started authoring professional reference articles in 2004 and became Clinical Editor in November 2012. Hayley is currently vice-chair of the Cumbria faculty of the Royal College of GPs. After working for Manchester medical school for 6 years she moved to Cumbria and is now deputy director of the community department of Lancaster University medical school where she has particular responsibility for the early years experiences of the medical students. She has published several clinical articles in peer-reviewed journals and is currently undertaking a masters degree in medical education.
